Journey Students is our ministry to students 6th-12th grades. We meet separately on Sunday Morning/Evening and collectively on Wednesday Night.
Journey Students FAQs
When do Teens meet?
Middle School students meet on Sunday mornings at 9:30am and 11:00am in the Living Room (in the portable). This meeting time, called ‘Deep End’ works on a 3 year cycle to help prepare middle school students for the transitions into High School and adulthood.
High School students meet on Sunday Evenings at 6pm at ‘The Well’ during the school year. Taking place at the Joiner residence, 1907 Conn Creek Rd, Cedar Park, this gathering gives high schoolers a chance to live life together and discover what it means to not only make their relationship with God personal, but how to grow in that relationship and how to be a contributing member of society.
On Wednesday evenings throughout the year we hold an event called ‘Re:’. Open to all Journey Students (6th-12th grade), this is a great first introduction to church. Casual, fun and free food! Doors open at 6p for meal and time for homework. Worship begins at 7p.

What curriculum do you use?
We use Live Curriculum with our students — a 3-year plan for Middle School. You can review the lesson plans below. You can also download the Live Daily app and request a code to see what students are currently learning about so you can follow along and reinforce the lessons. For High School students, age-appropriate lessons are created in-house by our student pastor as well as video-based lessons from RightNow Media
