Event Manager John Peterson Weekend/ Weeknight Need diplomatic person that can oversee an event and be a good host; $15 an hour
Social Media Writers John Peterson Occasional Posts Need social media writers to cover specific parts of ministries at The Journey and create occasional posts about activities.
Small Group Leader/Host John Peterson Weekly Meeting with Small Group Interested in leading a small group? Hosting a small group in your home? Help lead a group to study biblical topics and grow closer in relationships.
Foster Parent Night Out Volunteer Lonnie & Cindy Wendling One Friday Night — Bi-monthly Give Foster Parents a night off by organizing activities and playing with their children (babies through high school) for the evening here at The Journey
Orphan Respite Care Lonnie & Cindy Wendling A Weekend Care for Foster Children at your home while Foster Parents are away. Background check, training and observation required
Foster Parent Preparation Lonnie & Cindy Wendling Weekly Meeting Meet with other potential foster parents and participate in a facilitated discussion about preparation for foster care or adoption.
Reading Volunteer Amy Renfroe 30 minutes per week Help elementary students be able to read by the 3rd grade to impact their graduation rates.
Backpack Ministry Volunteer Rene Yates Once-a-month weekday delivery to Rouse Once a month, pick up groceries at HEB Leander Curbside. Deliver to Rouse High School Mon-Wed morning during school hours.
