There are a variety of roles needed to serve in our Children and Student Ministries – being with the kids of different ages in their activities.

Role Team Leader Schedule Description Interested?
Journey Kids Children’s Ministry Volunteer Susan George Every other Sunday, early or late service Nursery: Assist nannies in lovingly interacting and sharing Jesus with infants and toddlers.
Pre-School: Work in a team to teach children ages 3-5 through video skits, songs, games, crafts and activities.
Elementary: Work in a team to teach children (grades Kinder-5) through video skits, songs, games, crafts and activities.
Journey Kids Check-In Team Susan George One Sunday service per month, early or late service Description: Journey Kids Ministry Greeters are located at our check in station on Sunday Mornings. They greet families (guests and members) as they arrive and check them into our system. If you enjoy meeting people and smiling, this is the job for you!
Journey Kids Assistant Director Susan George Every Sunday, 9:00am—11:15am (time off from 9:45—10:45 if not needed to sub in a classroom) Description: Assist the Director by helping with classroom setup before the service; refilling classroom supplies as needed between services; loving, supporting and praying for shepherds; and helping new families on the Journey find their child’s classroom.
Middle School Student Volunteer Paul Nichols Every other Sunday Morning, early or late service Description: Help teach life lessons to Middle School students through activities and discussions. If you enjoy interacting and having fun with young teens,this is the job for you!
Refresh Student Volunteer (6th-12th graders) Paul Nichols Serve weekly on Sunday 4:30-6pm Volunteer: Assist the Student Pastor in programming, playing games with teens, leading small groups and building relationships with teens.  If you enjoy interacting and having fun with teens, this is the job for you!
Refresh Childcare Volunteer Paul Nichols Serve weekly on Sunday 4:30-6pm Take lead in serving the children of our student ministry shepherds while they are serving our students. Oversee snack time, an Orange based activity or craft, and video based bible lesson. Children age range is infant to elementary.
